The rowhome is the defining Baltimore home: brick or formstone, marble steps, two or three stories, often with a roof deck added during renovation. Locust Point, Federal Hill, Canton and Fells Point are all rowhome-first markets.
If you want an elevator, a doorman and a garage space, Harbor East has the deepest condominium inventory in the city, with converted mills in Canton and warehouse lofts in Fells Point close behind.
Parking is the single biggest trade-off along the harbor. Harbor East and Locust Point make it easy, Canton is workable, and Federal Hill and Fells Point make a rear pad or garage a genuine premium feature.
